Swift Swim doubles Speed under Rain, making Basculegion the fastest Pokémon on the field without a Choice Scarf. Mystic Water amplifies Wave Crash damage at no item cost. Wave Crash delivers enormous Rain-boosted Water damage. Last Respects accumulates with each fainted ally for late-game nuking. Aqua Jet provides priority for targets that would outspeed even Swift Swim. Protect adds safety flexibility. Adamant maxed Attack and Speed maximizes damage across Wave Crash burst and Last Respects sweep phases. Unlike Choice Scarf variants, Protect and Mystic Water provide free flexibility. The Swift Swim speed comes entirely from weather.
