Basculegion-M is a late-game snowball threat that scales with Last Respects as teammates fall. Adaptability doubles the STAB bonus on Liquidation and Last Respects, pushing Water-type damage into extreme ranges. Focus Sash guarantees survival from full HP and lets it fire off at least one attack, which is critical for keeping Last Respects count building. Aqua Jet provides priority to pick off weakened targets after Tailwind expires. The Adamant nature and max Attack SP ensure maximum damage output once the move counter has climbed.
