Basculegion (M) handles the matchups the rest of the sand core avoids. Adaptability doubles the STAB bonus on Wave Crash and Last Respects, the latter scaling with each fainted opponent to become a devastating endgame weapon. Sitrus Berry is chosen over Choice Scarf so Basculegion can absorb Close Combat from Sneasler and heal mid-battle. The spread stays below 208 HP to avoid the extra sand chip bracket while surviving Sucker Punch from non-Black Glasses Kingambit. Aqua Jet provides priority to pick off faster threats after chip. A reliable closer and Sneasler answer the sand core would otherwise lack.
