Basculegion-M is the team's late-game insurance policy and alternate mode. Choice Scarf with max Attack and Speed lets it outspeed virtually everything in the format and pivot with Flip Turn to bring in Archaludon for a free Stamina boost. Adaptability amplifies Wave Crash and Last Respects to devastating levels once opposing Pokemon have fainted through the course of the game. Aqua Jet provides priority cleanup. The combination of Sableye screens early and Basculegion-M sweeping late ensures the team has a win condition even if Archaludon goes down earlier than planned.
