Jolly nature and maxed Speed SPs make Mega Aerodactyl one of the fastest Pokemon in the format, setting Tailwind reliably. Wide Guard blocks spread moves, protecting the team from common threats like Eruption mirror matches. The defensive SP spread focuses on SpD to live timid Power Gem from Flutter Mane and modest Moonblast from Flutter Mane, while Tough Claws boosts contact moves like Rock Slide and Dual Wingbeat. U-turn synergy via Staraptor allows Aerodactyl to come in as a Chople Berry counter for Final Gambit turns.
