Mega Aerodactyl skips Dual Wingbeat and Protect for a bulkier, support-first build of Rock Slide, Ice Fang, Tailwind, and Wide Guard. Jolly with heavy HP and Defense investment lets it tank hits it normally wouldn't, surviving a full HP Timid Mega Floette Moonblast and a plus one Black Glasses Sucker Punch from King Gambit. The Speed still clears max Speed Mega Delphox, though it concedes the mirror against faster Aerodactyl. Without Farigiraf on the team, that extra bulk is what lets it keep attacking after eating a Fake Out.
