Aerodactyl is the team's Tailwind setter and Wide Guard support, providing speed control for the Snow core and protecting the team from spread moves like Rock Slide and Water Spout. Jolly nature with max Attack (32 SP) and max Speed (32 SP) makes it one of the fastest Tailwind setters in the format while still threatening meaningful damage with Rock Slide. Focus Sash guarantees it can survive one hit to set Tailwind or use Wide Guard in a pinch. Unnerve prevents opponents from using held Berries during critical turns, and Rock Slide is super effective into many current meta threats including Flying, Fire, and Ice types.
