Shadow Sneak provides Ghost-type priority to clean up Pokémon weakened by Stealth Rock and prior damage. Close Combat removes Tyranitar and King's Gambit that would otherwise wall the team. Stance Change shifts Aegislash between high-offense and high-defense forms as it attacks or shields, and Brave nature maximizes Attack with zero Speed investment, letting Aegislash act last and benefit from its naturally high defensive stats in Shield Form.
