Aegislash uses Spell Tag to boost Poltergeist and Shadow Sneak, giving the team a powerful Ghost-type attacker that doubles as a switch-in against Sneasler. Adamant max Attack SP maximizes damage output from Poltergeist and Close Combat, the latter providing a critical answer to Incineroar and Kingambit who threaten the rest of the squad. The Speed investment reaches 92, creeping common Incineroar spreads that stop at 91 to prevent Incineroar from getting a Parting Shot before Aegislash moves. Shadow Sneak priority enables cleanup alongside Basculegion Aqua Jet and Kingambit Sucker Punch when the faster members fall.
